1. What Pooled is — and is not
Pooled is software that computes informational estimates of UK Capital Gains Tax, allowances and Self Assessment figures from data you provide. Pooled is not a tax adviser, accountant, financial adviser or investment service, is not regulated by the FCA, and nothing in the product is advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment. You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings; verify figures against HMRC guidance or with a qualified professional before relying on them.
2. Your data, your responsibility for inputs
Computations are only as good as the transactions you import. You confirm you have the right to upload the data you provide, and that missing valuations you enter (for example GBP values for crypto swaps) are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity in your workspace. Don't attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
4. Subscriptions
The free tier covers the current tax year with one account. Paid plans are billed by Stripe monthly or annually, cancel any time from Settings, and remain active until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
5. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. You remain responsible for penalties or interest arising from your own filings.
6. Termination
You can delete your workspace at any time (Settings — deletion is permanent). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
